Photos: Lebedev vs. Jones Rematch Final Presser

By David Martin Warr

The final press conference took place for the upcoming fight between Guillermo Jones and WBA cruiserweight champion Denis Lebedev, which is scheduled for April 25th at the Dynamo Palace of Sports in Krylatskoye, Moscow. Last May, Jones knocked out Lebdev in eleven rounds and gave him a terrible beating in capturing the WBA crown. Afterwards, Jones tested positive for a banned weight cutting agent. The WBA belt was returned to Lebedev but the result of the bout was not reserved. The WBA then ordered a rematch.

I'm sorry, but I can't help but root against every Russian fighter at the moment. I know it's a little irrational, and I'm sure Lebedev is a good guy. But every time I hear or read another report about Russian…
