WASHINGTON — Hometown favorite Lamont Peterson won split-decision over champion Amir Khan to capture the WBA and IBF junior welterweight titles Saturday night. Peterson's win was helped by referee Joe Cooper, who took two points away from Khan for pushing in the seventh and 12th rounds. Peterson received scores of 113-112 on two cards. The other had Khan winning 115-110. Peterson improved to 30-1-1. Khan is 26-2.

Very biased pictures. Peterson hammered Khan with some great shots, but no where to be seen here, wtf.

This is a suuuuuper biased gallery. This was a great fight though. I would love a rematch but at a neutral site, Vegas or NY. With that said, I felt that Khan was completely underestimating Peterson. He may have thrown more but most of the punches were blocked or slipped, While Peterson picked...
