Photos: Kell Brook Makes Good on Battering Senchenko
Motorpoint Arena, Sheffield - In an IBF final welterweight eliminator, Kell Brook (31-0, 21KOs) stopped former WBA champion Vyacheslav Senchenko (34-2, 23KOs) in the fourth round.
Brook was faster, stronger, and landing the sharper punches when the fight started off. In the third, Brook was landing some big punches the floored Senchneko very hard and he got up on unsteady legs. Brook went in for the kill and he was trying to finish Senchenko off with combinations. Senchenko was trying to counter, landed a few, and made it to the bell.
Senchenko continued to unload early in the fourth. Out of nowhere, Senchenko caught Brook on the chin and shook him up. Senchenko followed up with more punches to take the fight to Brook. But then Brook battled back and dropped Senchenko with a massive punch. This time Senchenko was so hurt that he barely was capable of walking to the referee, who quickly waved things off.
Senchenko straight up quit after getting dropped in the 4th, hopefully thats the last we see of him.Comment by ukalltheway on 10-27-2013

Brook still didn't impress me too much. It looked like Senchenko wasn't with it, very bad balance and he didn't use the jab effectively while Brook did.Comment by Doctor_Tenma on 10-27-2013
Kell didn't look good, he needs to fix his fundamentals. Look at the placement of his right hand when he puts his guard up......it's a good 2-3 inches away from his face, this is why Senchenko kept shooting lead left…Comment by Boxing Goat on 10-27-2013
