Photos: Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in Top Form, Looking Trim

By Rafael Soto

Former World Boxing Council (WBC) middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chávez Jr. is looking very hard as he continues a very tough training camp for his upcoming return on March 1 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Chavez will face Bryan Vera in a super middleweight rematch of his last year's controversial fight, which Chavez was the victor with a questionable decision. In the co-feature, Orlando Salido will defend his WBO featherweight championship against Vasyl Lomachenko.

Looks better then in his last fight. I bet they won't tell us his weight the day of the fight. Hopefully, he don't gain more then 15 pounds and be lethargic.

He looks very good in the pictures............is anyone trying to teach him how to box yet? For a guy who supposed to have KO power he sure does run alot!! I like Vera he's shown to be a honest fighter…

Martinez tapped that a**!!! I think JCC will win, but Vera always comes to fight. Hopefully, the judges don't create another disastrous decisions for Vera.

Looking trim, translation: He found a new, momentarily untraceable diuretic. Jr. by 6th round TKO.
