Photos: Jose Gonzalez Grinding For Ricky Burns Bout

Undefeated mandatory challenger Jose Gonzalez (22-0, 17KOs) is grinding hard for his scheduled fight with WBO lightweight champion Ricky Burns (35-2, 10KOs) of Scotland. The Sky Sports televised fight is going to happen on May 11th at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow. Photos by Joel Colon.

 “I’m relaxed in my training, normal, like all of my other22 fights, but maybe with more intensity”, Gonzalez said. “I think that we don’t have to change anything, just the fight plan, but that is work for my team. I’m very focused in training and to work in my skills. I know I’m going to fight in his home, but in the ring it will be only Burns and me. I just want to beat Burns and bring the title to Puerto Rico."
