"We come from afar, but I'm ready for a big fight and I hope he (Gonzalez) is also well prepared," said Campos.

Gonzalez (13-0, 9KOs), from Toa Baja, Puerto Rico, is a 27 year old fighter who fought five times in 2010 with all of his bouts ended in TKO and now will face Campos (20-10, 11KOs), his most experienced rival. Campos, from Topeka, Kansas, was defeated by good boxers like Dmitriy Salita, Andrea Isaeu, Eloy Pérez and Diego Magdaleno in a six years career.

"We are working hard for Derrick (Campos). We do not know much about him, but we are 'ready', and preparing well for this fight. (Campos) is a strong fighter, is what we have heard of him, but we are training hard for February 5, "said Gonzalez, 27.

Another good young prospect, former Olympian and Amateur World Champion McWilliams Arroyo (5-1, 3KOs) will fight versus mexican Manuel Galaviz (3-3) in a 112 pounds and six rounds bout.

In the undercard, David Quijano (12-1, 8KOs) will face Antwan Robertson (6-4-1, 4KOs) in 115 pounds and eight rounds; Israel "El Heredero" Vázquez (1-0-1, 1KO), son of former three time World Champion Wilfredo Vázquez and brother of current WBO superbantamweight champion Wilfredo Vázquez Jr. will make his debut in his country when he face debutant Arturo Adorno at four rounds ans 108 pounds. In a six round fight Luis Joel Gonzalez (5-0, 4KOs) versus Gadiel Andaluz (4-2, 2KOs) at 135 pounds; six rounds Edgardo Rivera (4-1-1, 4KOs) versus Jayson Rosa (4-4-1, 1KO); four rounds Emanuel Rivera (4-0, 2KOs) versus Angelo Rampolla (0-2-1) at 118 pounds, and four rounds Ronald Ellis will make his debut against Anthony Adorno (0-2) in 160 pounds.
