At the Chumash Casino Resort in Santa Ynez, California, featherweight Luis Franco (9-0, 5 KOs) kept his undefeated record with a ten round split decision win over Leonilo Miranda (32-3, 30 KOs). Rising cruiserweight contender Lateef Kayode (16-0, 14 KOs) went the distance with Nicholas Iannuzzi (16-2, 9 KOs), winning a ten round unanimous decision. Kayode had a few issues in the fight with Iannuzzi's style and took more than enough time to adjust. The scores were 98-91, 97-92, 95-94 for Kayode.
