JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA - Pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather met with the Minister of Sport and Recreation, Fikile Mbalula, as the undefeated champion took part in a media gathering at the Sascoc House in Johannesburg. Mayweather is in South Africa for a six-day visit that the government hopes will revive boxing in the country. Mayweather is scheduled to return on May 3rd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and the opponent should be revealed within the next two weeks.
