Photos: Fernando Guerrero Training For The Khan Card

By Reynaldo Sanchez

Hollywood, Fla - Dominican star and Salisbury sensation Fernando Guerrero (21-1, 16 KO’s) will return to the ring on December 10th against Robert Kliewer at the Convention Center, in Washington DC. Amir Khan defends his WBA/IBF junior welterweight titles in the main event against Lamont Peterson. Guerrero faces Kliewer in an eight round bout. He views the fight as the first step in reclaiming his place in the middleweight division.

“For me, this fight is a return to move forward and reclaim my level. I’ll be prepared to give everything for my fans, everything that they desire. DJ Montacordoba, my conditioning coach, has been doing great work, and in the next fight you will see that,” says Guerrero.

Why can't they find a better opponent, I understand he's coming off a lost but most likely he'll stop this guy in the 1st or 2nd round, so what does this bout do for him? At least find a guy…
