Gimnasio de las Liebres, Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico - Daniel Estrada (29-2-1, 21KOs) was bloody but he still captured the WBC silver lightweight title with a twelfth round stoppage of Adrian Verdugo (22-6-1, 19KOs).

Former champion Hugo Cazares (37-7-2, 26KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over Daniel Diaz (19-4-1, 14KOs) in a super bantamweight bout. The scores were 118-110, 119-110 and 118-111.

Journeyman Daniel Valenzuela (28-13-1, 16KOs) got a shocking fifth round stoppage over unbeaten lightweight prospect Carlos Zarate Jr. (17-1, 12KOs), who dislocated his right shoulder and couldn't continue.
