Former champion Hugo Cazares (37-7-2, 26KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over Daniel Diaz (19-4-1, 14KOs) in a super bantamweight bout. The scores were 118-110, 119-110 and 118-111.
Journeyman Daniel Valenzuela (28-13-1, 16KOs) got a shocking fifth round stoppage over unbeaten lightweight prospect Carlos Zarate Jr. (17-1, 12KOs), who dislocated his right shoulder and couldn't continue.
