Photos: Erickson Lubin Closes Camp For Next Showcase

Welterweight prospect Erickson "Hammer" Lubin completed his training for his upcoming fight on Friday Night Fights in Chicago. Lubin, a southpaw, held a 6 round sparring session on Monday at the IMP GYM against Kazakhstan boxer Farid Agayev as part of the final details for Friday's bout against Puerto Rican Roberto Acevedo in Chicago. The show will be presented by ESPN from the UIC Pavilion.

He's a slick fast fighter! I heard he's also been sparring with Lamont Peterson and Joan Guzman, so he is definitely learning new things and transitioning well from amateur to pro.Comment by Bronsky on 02-04-2014
