LAS VEGAS,NV - The popular fighting brothers - DIEGO AND JESSE MAGDALENO - of Las Vegas will fight on Top Rank's "The Future is Now" back to back shows on Friday, August 3 and Saturday, August 4 in the Dallas Event Center at Texas Station Gambling Hall and Casino.


 
Friday, August 3, ESPN's Friday Night Fights will televise Super Bantamweight Jesse Magdaleno as he takes on Aldimar Silva Santos of Brazil. In the main event, Mercito "No Mercy" Gesta, the fiery unbeaten 25-0-1, 13 KO lightweight from Cebu, Philippines, battles TY BARNETT, 19-2-1, 12 KOs, of Washington, D.C. Also featured will be MICKEY BEY, 18-0-1, 9 KOs, of Cleveland against lightweight ROB FRANKEL, 30-12-1, 6 KOs, of Denver.

Saturday, August 4, Telefutura will televise the main event featuring NABF champion DIEGO MAGDALENO of Las Vegas who takes on ANTONIO DAVIS of Atlanta, Ga. Magdaleno, 22-0, 7 KOs, will defend his NABF super featherweight belt against Davis, 29-7, 13 KOs. Also on the card: blue-chip prospect Jose Benavidez, of Phoenix, and popular Notre Dame grad turned light heavyweight Mike Lee.

Luckily this fight comes on Telefutura next week since WV2 vs Rafael Marquez got scapped.
