Photos: Denis Lebedev Working Hard With Freddie Roach

WBA cruiserweight champion Denis Lebedev (25-2, 19KOs) continues to rebuild his career in California. The Russian puncher came to Los Angeles to learn new techniques, as he prepares for a rematch in the coming months against Guillermo Jones. Lebedev has been working with Hall of Fame Trainer Freddie Roach at the Wild Card Gym in Hollywood. Lebedev was knocked out last May by Jones in Moscow. After the match, Jones tested positive and the belt was returned to Lebedev. The WBA ordered a rematch, which the promoters are bringing back to Moscow.

Been a fan of Lebedev's for many years now because his positive attitude and entertaining southpaw style and his fight with Guillermo Jones was incredible. I'm hoping Roach can help Denis add some more dimensions to his fight game

Lebedev is one ugly mofo. Maybe he needs to lose some of that unnecessary weight and go down to light heavyweight.
