Photos: DeMarco, Tyner Face To Face at Final Presser

By Rafael Soto

The final press conference was held for the scheduled ring return of former world champion Antonio DeMarco on Saturday night in Tecate, Baja California. He was set face Colombian Orlen Padilla (20-5-1, 18KOs), but now DeMarco (30-3-1, 23 KOs) will get an even stiffer test when he takes on the always dangerous Lanardo Tyner (31-10-2, 20KOs) in a ten round battle, which is now taking place at the welterweight limit as the TV Azteca televised main event.

Earlier this year, Tyner came very close to upsetting Mayweather Promotions' prospect Chris Pearson and then traveled to Poland where he nearly upset rising contender Lukasz Maciec.

I hope DeMarco wins by knockout.

Tyner almost won a fight, he's not always dangerous, he's almost dangerous. This is treading water, DeMarco needs names now, time flies.
