Photos: Danny Garcia With Brutal Knockout of Salka

Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York - In a non-title catch-weight fight at 142-pounds, WBA/WBC junior welterweight champion Danny Garcia (29-0, 17KOs) demolished Rod Salka (19-4, 3KOs) in two rounds. Photo by Ed Mulholand.

After a commanding start in the first, Garcia started unloading the punches in the second. A barrage of punches sent Salka down in the second minute. Salka made it up at nine and then another barrage of shots forced Salka down to a knee.

Garcia went for the finish and Salka tried to battle back, but he was countered by a massive shot that sent Salka down and out on his back. The fight was quickly waved off as the towel came flying in.
