By Pepe Rodriguez

An army of fighters and individuals connected with the boxing industry were present in Mexico City for the final memorial service for the late Jose Sulaiman, who for nearly four decades served as president of the World Boxing Council. Among those present were Miguel Cotto, Manuel Charr, Gilberto Ramirez, Christy Martin and many others. On Tuesday, the WBC is holding an election to vote in a new president. The frontrunner is Jose's son, Mauricio Sulaiman.
