Photos: Chavez Jr. Training Very Hard For Rubio Title Clash

Chávez Jr. will be taking on No. 1 contender MARCO ANTONIO RUBIO.  Donaire will rumble with former junior featherweight champion WILFREDO VAZQUEZ JR. for the vacant World Boxing Organization (WBO) junior featherweight title.  The fights will be televised live on HBO World Championship Boxing®, beginning at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT.

Chavez Jr is putting the final touches in his preparations at the Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood.

"His a very experienced fighter and very strong, but not the overall boxer that Sebastian Zbik is. I Know that is a very tough fight and a great challenge for me, but I feel that I am not only ready for this type of fights, but to also win them"

"I won the biggest fight of my career in San Antonio when I beat John Duddy and the fans have always been good to me in Texas. I want to give them a great fight and on that they will enjoy. The fans are expecting a lot of me and I will not disappoint them"

I hope both Jr. and Rubio get the same size gloves, not like in the Manfredo fight where Jr. got to wear smaller gloves.

A vastly improved Jr. better shows that night or else he is gonna get the same treatment Lemieux got.

He is getting better the more he fights he's working on boxing more and the knockouts are coming more easy for him instead of him forcing it all the time and getting hit in the process.
