Cancun, Mexico - WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. is already putting in the hard working the gym. Pictured below with IBF super featherweight champion Juan Carlos Salgado, Chavez's knuckles are bruised and swollen from early training work. Chavez defends his title against Irish boxer Andy Lee on June 16th at the Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas. HBO will televise the bout.

I always thought if Martinez and Chavez jr fought, Martinez would beat the crap out of him and he probably would have 3years ago, even 2years, shoot even 1year ago! Now that Chavez jr is climbing that ladder and fighting better opposition, I think Chavez jr. would put up a good fight with Martine...
