Lightweight contender Ricardo Dominguez (37-9-2, 22 KOs) secured a controversial ten round unanimous decision over Al Sabaupan (20-3-1, 15 KOs). The scores were 97-92, 98-90 and 97-91.

Junior middleweights Saul Roman (37-9, 30 KOs) and Jose Pinzon (22-5, 14 KOs) went to war, scoring five knockdowns between the two of them. In the end, it was Roman who closed the show with a TKO victory in the ninth.
