Photos: Canelo Getting Down To Work in Training Camp

By Miguel Rivera

WBC 154-pound champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (40-0-1, 29KOs) is taking his next defense very seriously. He returns on September 15th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, where he defends his title for the fifth time against WBC silver welterweight king Josesito Lopez (30-4, 18KOs). Canelo is working hard in Los Angeles camp, as he starts the second stage of his preparation.

Trainers Edison and Chepo Reynoso, are outlining their boxer's training schedule in Los Angeles. Sparring partners have been obtained that resemble the style and physical attributes of Lopez.
