By Miguel Rivera

Fresh off his tenth round TKO of Alfredo Angulo on March 8th, former WBC/WBA junior middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez is back in the gym and keeping himself in shape for a planned return date of July 26th, which is eight days after his 24th birthday. Golden Boy Promotions will reveal his challenger in the coming weeks. Canelo is delighted that his first pay-per-view headliner on Showtime was a success, generating over 350,000 purchases and he also scored 32 rating points in Mexico.
