MGM Grand, Las Vegas - The weights are in for Saturday's Showtime Pay-Per-View card, where former WBC/WBA junior middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (42-1-1, 30KOs) will face Alfredo Angulo (22-3, 18KOs) in the main event.

Canelo weighed in at 155-pounds, while Angulo was 154.5. It was announced by Jimmy Lennon Jr. that both fighters were allowed to weigh in at a max of 155.

WBC super bantamweight champion Leo Santa Cruz was 122-pounds, and former two-division champion/mandatory challenger Cristian Mijares was also 122-pounds.

In a lightweight battle for the vacant WBC International title, Sergio "Yeyo" Thompson weighed in at 135-pounds, and Ricardo Alvarez was also 135.

In a WBC lightweight eliminator, former champion Jorge Linares came in at 134.5,  and Nihito Arikawa was also 134.5-pounds.

I think it is unprofessional by Canelo not making weight. The fight should have taking place at 160 since they are both very big for 154 anyway. I picked Angulo to win and now after all this B.S. i really want Canelo to lose bad.

Sergio Thompson vs Ricardo will be a good fight. Hopefully Thompson got enough time to train properly.
