Photos: Brandon Rios is Putting in Work For Mike Alvarado

Former Lightweight champion Brandon "Bam Bam" Rios works out with trainer Robert Garcia during media day at Fortune Boxing Gym for his upcoming exciting rematch against Mike Alvarado of their 2012 Fight of the Year-nominated fight. Rios-Alvarado II will take place, Saturday, March 30 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nev.  Promoted by Top Rank®, in association with Tecate, this Junior Welterweight championship rumble will be televised live on HBO Boxing After Dark®. --- Photos by Chris Farina/Top Rank.

Now while I cannot wait for this fight, what the future holds for Bam Bam is saddening. I know he only has 3 options on the table. And that requires moving to 147. When 140 is soo damn hot right…

This will be another entertaining donnybrook but Rios is better catcher and pitcher even though Alvarado is awfully rugged in his own right. Rios too explosive, will catch him again, perhaps earlier. Alvarado should go light for a few fights…
