WBA 'regular' light heavyweight world champion Juergen Braehmer was training hard at the Sportschule Gustrow in Gustrow, Germany. The veteran is preparing for his upcoming title defense against former Cruiserweight titlist Enzo Maccarinelli. Their clash takes place on April 5 at the Stadthalle Rostock, Germany. Maccarinelli was the cruiserweight champion under the WBO, but lost that belt in a unification with future heavyweight David Haye in 2008. Maccarinelli moved down to 175 in 2012.

Braehmer only fights safe bets. Has fought one beltholder and lost so it's cupcakes all around at home from here on out

Many things wrong about boxing rolled into one. Enzo Maccarinelli getting a title shot? At a belt that shouldn't even exist (regular champion?). Makes little sense.

Macca gets to sleep once again. He just can't get enough.
