Photos: Bernard Hopkins Becomes an Alien at Workout

IBF light heavyweight champion Bernard Hopkins (53-6-2, 32 KOs), 48-years-old, became an alien for his open workout with the media at the Joe Hand Boxing Gym in Philadelphia. Hopkins is preparing for his mandatory title defense against Karo Murat (25-1-1, 15 KOs) of Germany, taking place at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. During the open workout, Hopkins began training with an alien mask, as he believes his accomplishment of being a top fighter and champion for a span of three decades must place in the record books as being from another planet.

Showtime will air Hopkins Murat as part of a televised tripleheadiner, with Peter Quillin facing Gabe Rosado and Deontay Wilder taking on Nicolai Firtha in other two televised bouts.

Still beating champions at 48, he may actually be an alien.
