At the Arena Coliseo in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, Austin Trout (22-0, 13 KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over WBA-interim junior middleweight champion Rigoberto Alvarez (26-3, 19 KOs) to win the vacant WBA's “regular” junior middleweight belt. All three judges scored it 119-108 on all cards. Miguel Cotto is the WBA's "super champion" at 154-pounds. Photos by Etzel Espinosa/Hoganphotos and Canelo Pomotions.
