Photos: Anthony Mundine Grabs Gold, Beats Alvarez

Entertainment Centre, New Castle, Australia - Former two division champion Anthony Mundine (43-4, 25 KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over Rigoberto Alvarez (27-4, 20 KOs) to capture the vacant WBA interim-junior middleweight title. The scores were 114-113, 117-111 and 117-111. The win places Mundine in line for the "regular" WBA champion Austin Trout. Photos by Jonothan Carroll.
