Photos: Angelo Santana's Brutal Knockout of Garcia

Hallendale Beach, Florida - Lightweight Angelo Santana carried the rock. Three knockdowns paved the way for the Miami-based Cuban to power his way to a 5th round knockout over previously unbeaten Juan Garcia in Friday night's main event on Showtime's Shobox series. Photos by David Martin Warr/Team Santana.

After a brutal third knockdown in the fifth round, referee Frank Gentile stopped the contest without issuing a count, at which point extensive medical attention was paid to Garcia. He certainly took care of business against a quality opponent here, as he improves to 14-0 (11KO). Garcia suffers his first career loss as a result, falling to 13-1 (8KO).

you can't be an arrogant wannabee showboater without a chin - you will get embarrassed quickfast. santana was taking garcia's shots then knocking him silly with his counters - hurting him with everything. Santana under my radar for real now.
