If Floyd Mayweather is looking for some added inspiration heading into his May 5th battle with Puerto Rico’s Miguel Cotto, all he has to do is take a look around his personal gym.

Inside of the Mayweather Boxing Club in Las Vegas you will find a bevy of young and proven talent around Floyd Jr. From budding amateurs, prospects looking to make their name, and contenders and past champions, the gym is chalked full of talent these days.

On Thursday afternoon, super middleweight contender Andre Dirrell, who I spoke with earlier this week, was again plying his trade and looking extremely sharp as he went through his regimen. One of the best fighters at 168 pounds, Dirrell is targeting WBO champion Robert Stieglitz in the near future and seems re-energized to take his career to new heights.

For images of another crowded scene at the Mayweather Boxing Club, including Dirrell, Roger Mayweather, Floyd Jr.’s sparring partners, and all the other young talent in the gym, please visit the slideshow on the left or check out Andre Dirrell and other young talent at the Mayweather Boxing Club

Could do without seeing this guy again. Those that say he would trouble Ward are out of their tree imo, maybe if the ref was Pabon who prevented inside fighting otherwise Ward would fcuk this guy up on the inside, Dirrell be diving to the canvas every two seconds and crying to the ref.

I don't like Dirrell..I think he's soft!!...but on the flip, IMHO...I think he could've won the tourney IF he had the right mental...the tools are DEFINITELY there...no doubt about that...if Dirrell had that "warrior" inside of him..like Kirkland does, then he'd be IMO close to UNBEATABLE...I rea...
