Photos: Amir Khan Hits Jorge Rubio's Gym in Florida

By Reynaldo Sanchez

Former champion Amir Khan (29-3, 19KOs), who is spending a few days in Miami, Florida - visited the gym of his old trainer Jorge Rubio of Cuba. Rubio trained Khan several years ago. Rubio was fired after a single fight, after Khan got destroyed in one round by Breidis Prescott in 2008. The split led to Khan hooking up with Hall of Fame coach Freddie Roach, and that union lasted several years. Khan, who is planning a ring return in early December, is currently trained by Virgil Hunter.
