Photo: Team Shafikov Confident of Miguel Vazquez Win

Undefeated lightweight contender Denis Shafikov (33-0-1, 18KOs) is very confident of defeating IBF lightweight champion Miguel Vazquez (33-3, 13KOs) on February 22nd at the Cotai Arena at the Venetian Resort in Macau, China. Vazquez has been undefeated since losing a ten round unanimous decision to a young 19-0 Saul "Canelo" Alvarez in June of 2008. Since that loss, Vazquez has defeated several top contenders and snatched away the ubeaten records of Breidis Prescott, Mercito Gesta and Lenny Z.
