As BoxingScene reported a few days ago, WBO featherweight champion Orlando Salido (39-11-2, 27 KOs) broke his index finger when a car door was slammed on his hand. The injury forced him to withdraw from a planned HBO televised defense against undefeated Mikey Garcia (29-0, 25KOs), scheduled for November 10th at The Wynn in Las Vegas. According to a member of Salido's camp, the boxer will be out four to six weeks and wants to reschedule the fight for January 2013.
