Photo: Orlando Salido's Injury, Broken Index Finger

By Miguel Rivera

As BoxingScene reported a few days ago, WBO featherweight champion Orlando Salido (39-11-2, 27 KOs) broke his index finger when a car door was slammed on his hand. The injury forced him to withdraw from a planned HBO televised defense against undefeated Mikey Garcia (29-0, 25KOs), scheduled for November 10th at The Wynn in Las Vegas. According to a member of Salido's camp, the boxer will be out four to six weeks and wants to reschedule the fight for January 2013. Glad these guys (Salido and Marquez) posted pics of their injuries. Don't want people thinking they're ducking or some crap.
