Photo: Matthysse Back in The Gym, Preps For April Bout

On the most dangerous punchers in the sport, Lucas Matthysse, is officially back in the gym and is already starting to prepare for an anticipated return in the month of April. The boxer says there is a verbal agreement between his promoters Mario Arano and Golden Boy Promotions, for a return on a date in April. Lucas (34-3-1, 32 KOs ) put in a tough workout at the Arano Box gym in the city of Junín in Buenos Aires. Coach Luis "Cuty" Barrera put him through a hard training session.

Matthysse is looking to bounce back after September's twelve round decision loss to WBA/WBA junior welterweight champion Danny Garcia, which took place on the Mayweather-Canelo undercard in Las Vegas.

Hope he can comeback with a good win then maybe a rematch with Pederson at 140 for that belt, then Garcia in a rematch.
