Photo: Lucas Matthysse, Humberto Soto Chance Meeting

By Jhonny Gonzalez

Junior welterweights Lucas Matthysse and Humberto "La Zorrita" Soto have promised to batter eachother this coming Saturday night at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. The fight is going to be the Showtime televised co-feature to Victor Ortiz vs. Josesito Lopez. The fighters, who never met face to face in the past, faced off for the first time when they bumped into eachother in the lobby of the Loews Hotel in Hollywood. Lucas (30-2-0-1, 28 KOs) and Soto (59-7-2-1, 34 KOs) spoke for a few minutes, wished eachother luck and then posed for a photo.

Pictures from the press conference also show Soto being the taller man. I'd post the picture but I guess I need to have at least 15 posts.
good sht zorrita is the taller fighter. This should be the main event zorrita by ud:boxing:
i think most of the time sites r wrong about fighters height...remember when juanma was always listed at 5'7 and marquez at 5'5? well…

First I want to see a great fight and these guys bring it..I think Soto will box him first and then use that long reach and power and take Lucas out..my opinion.
