Photo: Juan Carlos Salgado, Martin Honorio Make Weight

Grand Oasis Resort, Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico - IBF super featherweight champion Juan Carlos Salgado (24-1-1, 16KOs), and challenger Martin Honorio (32-6-1, 16KOs), made weight for their showdown on Saturday night at the Arena Oasis in Cancun. The officials include supervisior David McCullough (Texas), referee Charlie Fitch (New York), and the three judges are judges Glenn Trowbridge (Las Vegas), Alfredo Polanco (Mexico), and Jakubco Evanston (Illinois).

"You will see a great fight, Honorio has extensive experience and power, but I'm better. I will continue to be champion," said Salgado.
