Photo: JC Candelo Leaves Hospital After Han TKO Loss

Veteran Juan Carlos "JC" Candelo (32-14-4, 21 KOs) was released from the hospital after suffering a freak knockout loss to Abraham “Abie” Han (22-1, 14 KOs) on Saturday night at the El Paso Coliseum in El Paso, Texas. Candelo went down hard in the first round and somehow survived until the second. But at the end of that round, Candelo was rocked and grabbed onto Han, which caused both fighters to tumble hard to the mat. Candelo broke his ankle during the tumble, was unable to continue and was taken out of the ring by paramedics. Photo Escalante Promotions
