A crossroads fight will take place on September 7th at Casino Apodaca in Nuevo León, Mexico. The main event of the card will feature a bantamweight showdown between countrymen Hugo Ruiz (32-2, 29KOs) and Julio Cesar "Pingo" Miranda (37-8-2, 29KOs). Ruiz is one fight removed from his close decision loss to Koki Kameda. He returned in June and stopped Giovanni Caro in two rounds. Pingo's lost three of his last six bouts. He went to a draw in his last outing, in April against Juan Jose "Goofy" Montes. Both fighters weighed in at 117.9-pounds.
Hugo Ruiz is a huge bantamweight! He's like 5'9.5" and you'd think he'd be scrawny but he's thickly boned and muscled.
He is also a great boxer with big power. Kamedas btch ass needs to give him a rematchComment by TheMexHurricane on 09-06-2013
