Photo: Fernando Montiel is Shredded For Padua Clash

By Miguel Rivera

Former multi-division champion Fernando Montiel (49-4-2, 37KOs) is shredded up as he heads to this Saturday's fight with Filipino contender Janderes Padua (8-2-1, 5KOs) at the Hotel Azul Ixtapa in Ixtapa, Guerrero, Mexico. After struggling in some of his recent fights, Montiel took this training camp more seriously than some of his previous camps in the past. He promised to retire if Padua pulls off the upset victory. The boxer wants to get a title shot by the end of the year.

Montiel is on PEDs now even though he's standing in front of a buncg of weights. You people are seriously pathetic.
Fighting a guy with only 11 fights?? Damn...
My thoughts exactly. What a terrible mismatch, this sort of idiotic matching is what leads to accidents in boxing.
