so your sayin you where there? judging from that pic it looked like Vanes was getting beat ,but your right I wasn't there so why don't you tell us how the sparing went.by the way ,I met Vanes at club nokia ,he sat right next to me .the dude is real cool so I'm not dissing him ,just pointing out that JR was a lil more then people say he is.one thing I will say is that dude needs a better looking girlfriend, lol my wife looked better then his chick.lmao..............................Yes i was and I'm not dissing chavez jr either, just stating fact... Top rank will never allow Chavez jr in the same ring with vanes... That fight has been asked for team vanes many times and top ranks response has been, we are not stuPid and feeding him to u . Plus roach trains both and the fight will never happen... If the media were allowed to they would give their reall account of what happened today. Best of luck to both on June 4th

Why not make this an actual fight and scrap the Chavez-Cotto nonsense?
Let Chavez-Martirosyan and Cotto-Cintron happen in the Fall.

Chavez told the media people gathered to see him spar that he is going to knock-out Zbik within 6 rounds and win the title.
To many of those who saw the sparring of Chavez Jr., with another top prospect Vanes Martirosyan, Chavez Jr’s pronouncement maybe a bit pre-mature.
Martirosyan gave a very good account of himself and on many occasions during the sparring he seemed to have the upper hand. The sparring session was intense and it appeared that there was no love lost between the two. They were really hammering each other and there was no sign at all that they were holding back. It was a slugfest that drew applause from those who saw it happen
