This past Saturday night at the GETEC Arena in Magdeburg, "King" Arthur Abraham became a super middleweight champion for a second time when he reclaimed the WBO super middleweight crown from domestic rival Robert Stieglitz in their third meeting. Two judges sided with Abraham 114-111 and 115-110, while a third saw it for Stieglitz by one point.
All three judges had identical scores from the fifth round forward.
CompuBox credited Abraham's work in the second half of the fight as being the difference in securing the victory - https://www.boxingscene.com/compubox-arthur-abrahams-late-rally-sealed-deal--75204
Abraham will return to action on May 31, when he makes the first defense of his reclaimed title.
