Undefeated middleweight contender Peter Quillin (26-0, 20 KOs) has signed a contract with influential boxing advisor Al Haymon. Quillin was slated for the Floyd Mayweather-Miguel Cotto undercard on May 5th - but his opponent, Winky Wright, fell through, and whether or not Quillin will remain on the card is unknown.

"We met in New York to finalize the deal, and I'm really excited to bring add Al to my team," Quillin told BoxingScene.com.  "John [Seip] and the rest of my current managing team will still be staying with me.  I'm still with Golden Boy as far as my promoter.  They've all been doing a great job to get me to this point.  Nothing's changing except that Al's on board now, and with his experience and expertise, I'm ready to take my career to the next level."

Over the years, Haymon has compiled an impressive stable of fighters - including Floyd Mayweather Jr., Adrien Broner, Paul Williams, Jermain Taylor, Andre Berto, Gary Russell Jr., Seth Mitchell, Chris Arreola and several others.
