Peter Fury: If We Can Get Klitschko in March, We'll Fight!

By Edward Chaykovsky

According to trainer/uncle Peter Fury, undefeated Tyson Fury (20-0, 14KOs) is ready to fight WBC king Vitali Klitschko in March - if Vitali (45-2, 41KOs) decides to continue his boxing career. The 41-year-old champion may retire to begin a career in politics. Fury is looking to snatch away the WBC shot from countryman David Haye, who spent the last year pursuing the shot at Vitali.

Peter Fury told the Manchester Evening News: “I can see Tyson winning and keeping hold of the world title. He is developing into a serious world class fighter. He has so much more to give. Now he just needs polishing because the hard work has been done. It’s taken a year to get the technique right and he’s on the world stage now.

“If we can get Vitali Klitschko for March then we will. We are happy with that. I’m happy to sign up for it. We are ready if Vitali decides to fight on.”
The fight was close but still a convincing win for Fury. Don't forget it was only his 8th pro fight and how young he is. Chisora's weight was game plan to knock Fury out. It didn't work.
Get Fury's balls…
You chat so much shit... The Chisora that fought Fury and Helenius are two completely different fighters. He was 20 lbs lighter and had vastly improved his style against Helenius. Why mention McDermott? Fury is 1 - 1 against him…
