Pawel Glazewski, Rafal Jackiewicz Get Decision Wins

By Alexey Sukachev

Amfiteatr, Miedzyzdroje, Poland - Former Roy Jones Jr's unjust victim Pawel Glazewski (23-2, 5 KOs), slowly building his career back up, effectively outpointed American import Rowland Bryant (18-4, 12 KOs) in a two-way action fight. Scores were: 79-73 (twice) and 77-76 - for Glazewski, who kicked off another promising run over the division.

-----------------------

In a co-main event, southpaw light welterweight Michal Chudecki (10-0-1, 3 KOs) cruised to a wide decision over tough-as-nails Venezuelan Felix Lora (18-12-5, 9 KOs) in a ten-rounder.

Chudecki was surprisingly much finer than his experienced opponent. The Pole sent his opponent down a couple of times and easily scored a win with cards reading as 99-89, 98-89 and 98-92 - for Chudecki.

-----------------------

Former world title challenger and former European welterweight Rafal Jackiewicz (46-11-2, 21 KOs) has officially ended his illustrious career (which started in 2001) at a solid age of 37, getting a unanimous decision over fellow veteran Krzysztof Szot (18-15-1, 5 KOs) in a scheduled eight-rounder. Scores were: 80-72, 79-73 and 78-74. Jackiewicz lost a majority decision to reigning IBF champion Jan Zaveck in September 2010.

-----------------------

Welterweight Przemysaw Runowski (8-0, 2 KOs) passed his toughest career test with a convincing sixth-round stoppage of rugged Belarussian Andrey Abramenko (20-7-2, 4 KOs), who enjoyed an early rally but succumbed to the power of the Pole in the second half of the fight. Time of stoppage was 2:38.

-----------------------

Former amateur standout Wlodzimierz Letr (3-3, 2 KOs), who is struggling with his professional career, stopped Australian (and ethnic Pole) Ben Wrotniak (5-2, 1 KO) in the sixth and final round of a see-saw two-way battle.
