Juan Manuel Marquez has no interest in facing Manny Pacquiao for a fifth time, but he does want something that Pacquiao owns - the WBO welterweight title.

Mexico based Zanfer Promotions are already exploring possible options for Marquez - if he decides to continue.

One possibility is dependent on Pacquiao's future. Pacquiao's handlers, including trainer Freddie Roach, are openly discussing the strong possibility of moving down to 140-pounds in 2015.

If Pacquiao defeats Chris Algieri next month in Macau, and moves down to 140, then the WBO welterweight title will become vacant. If that sequence of events plays out, Zanfer wants to position Marquez to fight for that vacant title.

"We are analyzing whether Pacquiao will go down to 140 pounds, which then opens up the possibility to Juan Manuel to go for the title at 147 and fight for a fifth championship - that's an option. I do not know if Marquez will return, but if he does we want it to be very appealing, and we know it could be in Mexico City," a Zanfer spokesman told ESPN Deportes.
