On Saturday night, Manny Pacquiao revealed he was battling a right shoulder injury in his unanimous decision defeat to Floyd Mayweather Jr. at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Pacquiao said he hurt his right shoulder in training some three weeks before the bout, an injury he says was so severe that he was considering postponing the fight.

He had hoped to receive an anti-inflammatory injection before the fight, which he said he had done with the approval of the US Anti-Doping Agency during training. But the Nevada State Athletic Commission, which oversees boxing in the state, denied permission for the shot.

Roach had claimed that he booted out a mole in their training camp. He never identified the person. Mayweather's close friend and adviser, Leonard Ellerbe, said he knew everything that was going on in Pacquiao's camp.

“Freddie Roach thinks he runs a tight camp, but I know everything that’s happening there. I heard it’s been a very rough camp," Ellerbe stated a week before the fight.

Pacquiao believes Mayweather knew about the injury, claiming that Floyd repeatedly grabbed his right forearm during their fight.

"He knew, he knew about it," Pacquiao told Filipino reporters, while grabbing his right forearm. "I'm positive that he knew. Because of that leak. They knew. Do you see him pulling me by my arm? Because he knew. Did not he pull [my arm]?"
