Pacquiao: If There is a Good Fight at 140, Why Not?

By Luis Sandoval

WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (56-5-2, 38KOs) is certainly open to the idea of dropping back to the junior welterweight division for a good fight.

Pacquiao has been fighting exclusively at 147 since November 2009, but rarely ever does he weigh close to the welterweight limit at the official weigh-in. The upcoming fight with Chris Algieri (20-0, 8KOs), on November 22, takes place at a catch-weight of 144-pounds.

"If there is a good fight at 140, why not [go back down]? My natural weight is 140. It's not that hard [to make that weight]," Pacquiao told BoxingScene.com.
Does it make more sense to fight Algeri than Khan or Thurman? I think the choice of Algeri speaks for itself.
But Manny is talking about future fights at 140. Algieri is the current fight. Khan probably makes monetary sense…

Pac wipes the floor with anybody at 140, I'm talking KO too, 147 is not his natural weight but it's where he has all his competition at.
