MANNY PACQUIAO was hailed as the best fighter on the planet after retaining his WBO world welterweight crown in Las Vegas.
The Filipino claimed a unanimous points win over Shane Mosley, who was roundly booed by the crowd for not trading punches with Pacquiao.
But he didnt let their reaction cloud his judgement of Pacman, saying: I fought the best fighter in the world.
He has exceptional power awesome. I have never been hit the way he hit me.
Pacquiao knocked down Mosley with a left hook in the third round.
And that punch sapped Mosleys willingness for any toe-to-toe fighting for the rest of the fight.
The former champion, has never been stopped in 18 years in the ring.
And he managed to stay away enough to finish the 12th round upright.
Pacquiao said: I was expecting him to fight at least five of the 12 rounds toe-to-toe with me so that we could test our power but it just didnt happen.
The judges marked Pacquiao a comfortable winner, 120-108, 120-107 and 119-108.
Meanwhile, Mike Perez has been crowned the Prizefighter International Heavyweight king.
In a devastating display at Alexandra Palace, the Irish-based Cuban beat Kerston Maxwell, Gregory Tony and Tye Fields to land the £32,000 prize.
