Pablo Cesar Cano-Francisco Contreras on 2/18 in Cancun

According to promoter Pepe Gomez, junior welterweight Pablo Cesar Cano (22-1-1, 17KOs) will return on February 18th against Francisco Contreras (16-1, 13KOs). For Cano, the 22-year-old Mexican returns in his first fight since losing a blood a guts war with veteran Erik Morales last September. Contreras was stopped in his last fight in three rounds by Sharif Bogere in October. The fight is going to happen at the Arena Oasis in Cancun, Mexico.

Cano is a omer & I hope they work on his defense some to try & prevent cutting...maybe he should try pickle brine...

Cano showed a lot of heart during his war with Morales. Sure Morales is past his prime but he managed to give Maidana hell prior to his bout with Cano. For a fighter to come out of nowhere and debut…
