Six weeks after the most important victory of his professional career, Oscar Valdez, is back in training camp in Carson, California getting ready for his next fight. Valdez one of the best and more popular Mexican boxer today, is coming of spectacular knockout over former world champion Evgeny Gradovich last April 9 in Las Vegas.

“I took off a couple of weeks, before starting to run and going to the gym and two weeks ago I was back in California ready to start training camp,”, said Vargas, after a hard workout at the Rock Gym in Carson California.

The fight against Gradovich was to be Valdez toughest test in his professional career and he passed it with flying colors. Valdez dominated the former world champion from the start of the fights. He was faster, stronger and very accurate with combinations and in the fourth round landed a perfect left hook to the chin that ended the fight.

“I felt he was going to get up but he was badly hurt and couldn’t continue. It was all about execution, we work very in camp to get ready for

Gradovich and had a great plan and it was about putting it together on fight night and I did,” said Valdez.

Valdez (20-0, 17 KOs) of Nogales, Sonora, México who made his professional debut on November of 2013 has won his last three fights in spectacular fashion against what many considered the three most significant opponents of his pro career.

“When you first become a professional fighter there is a lot to learn, but as you developed and gain experience you become a much better boxer and I think that is what I done. I feel that I am much better now and my last three fights are a testament to that,” said Valdez.
