Oscar Bravo Aims To Make Felix Verdejo Clash a War

Experienced Chilean boxer Oscar 'La Maquina' Bravo is already in 'La Isla del Encanto' where this coming Saturday, August 16, he said he will do everything possible to defeat the sensational Puerto Rican prospect Felix 'El Diamante' Verdejo when the two clash at the Coliseo Hector Sola Bezares.

"I'm a fighter who likes [for my opponent] to fight me. It will be a good show for everyone who loves boxing. They will see a war," said Bravo. "I'm going to come in there to throw a lot of punches. I'll be looking to fight."

Bravo (21-5, 9 KO's), who has never been stopped and went the twelve round distance three times during his career, guaranteed that he will leave everything in the ring and promises to be the toughest test in the young career of the Puerto Rican prospect. However, Bravo also recognizes the quality of his opponent.

"I know he (Verdejo) is a very good fighter. I can not put my hands down. I have to always be well aware of everything. Any misstep can get me knocked out," Bravo said.

The fight will be broadcast on Univision Sports (UNIMAS) and will  also feature the super bantamweight prospect Jose 'Wonder Boy "Lopez (13-0, 10 KO's), who will be defending his regional title against Roberto' Jet 'Castaneda (21-6-1, 15).

Do not blink. This will not go past the 1st round, if Bravo thinks he is going to stand there & fight.
